Each is a completely original design and comes planted with a succulent of Glen’s choosing, feel free to replace it with your own newly purchased plant from Vetplantfees. The King and Queen of the Potheads (pictured above) will be offered at the Rare Plant Auction at 11:00 on Saturday 20 September during the Festival.   • Botanical Art Returns to Vetplantfees 2025

    Calitzdorp Succulent Society welcomes all to Vetplantfees 2025. Our fabulous display of botanical art returns this year. New art by South Africa’s most talented artists will be on display and for sale. This painting by Gerhard Marx was created for the 2025 festival and is just one of many that will be on display. See all the details, click here. “The Calitzdorp Succulent Festival is again happening in September ( 19-21 Sept.) and the emphasis this year is on the genus Gasteria. Just completed an acrylic on canvass rendering of Gasteria acinacifolia for exhibition at the festival and currently working on a second painting.” Gerhard Marx
